Last weekend was especially active and very adventurous. I had two lovely visitors from my homeland just for the weekend, but we didn’t stay in London. Charlie drove us up North to beautiful Harrogate just to drop off the girls at the biggest wedding fair in the country. One of the girls runs a bridal shop back home therefore this show was very important for her and for me and Charlie, this was a great excuse to come back to Yorkshire. I still feel very nostalgic about my magical trip to York.
We picked up the girls at the airport and 3 hours later were going up and down amazing North Yorkshire countryside. The views were breathtaking, so green and lush everywhere, fields full of sheep. A very picturesque and easy to miss road got us to the lovely B&B in Burnt Yates.
We were greeted by lovely Margaret and shown to our cosy rooms.
I love early mornings in places like this. It was 6 am when I draw back the curtains to enjoy the view and breath in some fresh air.
Before breakfast Charlie and I took off for a little walk. It was a sunny and crisp morning, with the dew on the grass and sheep suspiciously staring at us. Such a fresh start to the day.
After a yummy full English Breakfast and a bucket of coffee we said our goodbyes and took off to Harrogate.
We had a great stay and enjoyed everything about this place, thank you Margaret.
